When I started singing opera I quickly realized that because of my competitive gymnastics and training background, I had certain muscles that were unable to comply with proper opera singing technique. My muscles weren't balanced for singing. It took me years to figure out how to re-train my body physicially to help me become a professional opera singer, and I did it!
I faced many challenges including: under and over use of certain muscles while singing, neck pain, headaches and muscle spasms. I used my experience as a coach and trainer to help myself become a better singer and solve these issues.
